Logistics Audit
The company conducts independent ‘Logistics audit’ of Cargo Transportation Practices in within India or Dispatches from India (export) or dispatched to India (Imports) for Loss Prevention & Cargo Safety.
Objective
The purpose of this logistics transportation audit is to inspect, evaluate and recommend corrective measures to ensure the safe handling, secure loading, and protected transportation of goods on Indian roads, with a focus on loss prevention and compliance with relevant Indian regulations.
Scope of Audit
What this audit covers: mainly but not limited to…
a) Inspection of cargo handling practices during loading and unloading,
b) Verification of securing and lashing arrangements for cargo inside trucks and trailers,
c) Assessment of damage prevention measures during transit, Review of compliance with Indian transport safety guidelines and relevant regulations.
d) Ensure correct packaging, labelling, stowage, stacking, adequacy of LSD (lashing securing and dunning) based on cargo sensitivity.
e) Assess proper weight distribution to avoid vehicle imbalance.
Confirm compliance with load capacity limits as per Central Motor Vehicles Rules (CMVR), 1989.
Logistics audit is to mainly ensure perils such as Wet damage, Mishandling, Accidents and overturning of vehicles, Jerk and jolts, lashing failure, lifting failure, stacking failure, inadequate LSD, damage due to hogging and sagging effect, internal shift causing damage during surface transportation AND, fire, sea water ingress etc during SEA transit are common causes that can be restricted if care and proactive corrective and preventive actions and procedures are followed.
The audit report shall also recommend where ever applicable technology integration with our virtual dispatch applications and / or digital dispatch recording app and for vehicles we have our IoT-based sensors to monitor cargo shocks, vibrations, and tilts in real-time, route deviations, ensure on time delivered, manage theft alerts and various other transit risk with the use of GPS & telematics for route optimization, minimizing road jolts and delays. We issue recommendations and assist in adaptation of digital inspection checklists to ensure standardized monitoring.
We have inhouse tracking station to monitor and enhance transit / transportation efficiency.

Services for CHA clearances
⦁ A Logistics Operator acts as an end-to-end coordinator between importers/exporters, the CHA, shipping lines, transporters, and port authorities to ensure smooth clearance of cargo containers at Indian ports, ICDs (Inland Container Depots), and CFSs (Container Freight Stations).
⦁ Pre-Clearance Services : These are activities done before the container reaches the port such as :-
⦁ Document Verification & Coordination
⦁ Coordinate with CHA to prepare required documents: Bill of Lading (BL), Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Import Export Code (IEC), GST & PAN details, Letter of Authorization for CHA,Ensure all data is uploaded on ICEGATE (Indian Customs EDI Gateway). Shipping Line Coordination, Follow up with shipping lines for arrival notices.
⦁ Track vessel ETA (Expected Time of Arrival). Obtain Delivery Orders (DO) for releasing containers. HS Code & Duty Assessment, Liaise with CHA to ensure correct HSN classification. Assist in calculating applicable customs duties and IGST as per CBIC norms.
Customs Clearance Services
When containers arrive, the logistics operator works closely with the CHA to handle: Bill of Entry Filing, The CHA files the Bill of Entry electronically on behalf of the importer/exporter via ICEGATE., Logistics operator ensures documents are accurate and timely filed. Duty Payment Support: Facilitate payment of customs duties and port charges on behalf of clients. Physical Inspection Coordination: Coordinate for customs examination where required:
Open container inspections : Conduct sampling of cargo, Verification against invoices, Handling Customs Queries / SCNs : Assist CHA in replying to customs objections or show cause notices.
Port & CFS / ICD Coordination

⦁ Supervise unloading at CFS / ICD and handle bonded warehouse requirements.
⦁ Liaison with Port Authorities
⦁ Work with port operations teams, terminal operators, and container yards.
